The Lackawanna County Children's Library in Scranton, Pennsylvania is hosting an event called "Danger Club: The Science of Static Electricity" to celebrate National Static Electricity Day on January 9. The program is designed for children in grades 4 through 6 and will allow participants to engage in activities such as bending water and making a butterfly that really flaps its wings.

There are two opportunities to attend the event: one session is scheduled for Wednesday, January 7 at 6:00 PM, and a second session will be held on Saturday, January 10 at 2:00 PM. The event will take place at the library located at 520 Vine Street, Scranton, PA 18509. Participants can register at the provided library website.
