Holiday observances in Austin will change the schedule for trash, recycling, and composting services this week. Services originally scheduled for Thursday, December 25 will be moved to Friday, December 26, and those planned for Friday, December 26 will take place on Saturday, December 27.

The Recycle & Reuse Drop-off Center will be closed on Wednesday, December 24 and Thursday, December 25. In addition, the Austin Water Hornsby Bend Biosolids Management Plant will not accept yard trimmings and large brush drop-off on Thursday, December 25.

Residents can check their scheduled collections at any time using the Austin Recycles app or by visiting AustinTexas.gov/myschedule.
