Maricopa County Opens Downtown On-Site Childcare Center

Maricopa County has opened a new on-site childcare center called the Maricopa County Kids Club. The facility is located in downtown Phoenix and covers 12,000 square feet. It offers early learning care for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years and is operated by KinderCare. County employees are eligible for a 50% discount on childcare costs.

The new center comes as part of the County's ongoing investment in employee benefits. For example, County employee Kim McMahon, who received support during her cancer treatment, has now enrolled her son in the program, taking advantage of the high-quality care available near her workplace.

The opening of the Kids Club is another step the County is taking to support working families, along with other benefits such as paid leave.
