Maricopa Students Earn College Credits Before Graduation
Maricopa Community Colleges reported that during the last academic year, 25,800 high school students in Maricopa County earned college credits through dual enrollment programs. Students are taking college-level courses at local high schools and saving on tuition costs since they pay only a fraction of standard university fees. Some of these students have even earned enough credits to be on track for completing an associate degree before they graduate from high school.
