**House Fire in Verrado Contained by Local Fire Departments**

Last night, crews from the Buckeye Fire Medical Rescue Department, Goodyear Fire Department, Arizona Fire & Medical Authority, and Avondale Fire & Medical responded to a house fire located near Acacia Way and Park Meadows Drive in Verrado.

Responders arrived quickly and successfully contained the fire to the garage, preventing it from spreading to the rest of the house. One occupant of the home experienced minor smoke inhalation, which was treated on the scene. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
