APS, Firehouse Subs Foundation offer grants for first responders in Arizona

Arizona Public Service and Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation are partnering to provide grants for fire departments, law enforcement, emergency medical services, municipal and state organizations, schools, and other nonprofits to purchase life-saving equipment.

Grant applications open April 7, 2026, at 7:00 a.m. Arizona time to eligible organizations within the APS service territory at firehousesubsfoundation.org.

Past recipients have used this support to make a difference in their communities.

In 2025, we were able to fulfill grants and provide crucial equipment to the Town of Wickenburg, Taylor-Snowflake Fire and Medical Department, St. Vincent de Paul, Pleasant Valley Fire Department, Somerton Cocopah Fire Department, Goodyear Police Department, Congress Fire Department and many more.
