Maricopa County Breaks Record in Water Drive
Maricopa County in Arizona recently held its annual Water Drive, which resulted in a record-breaking 79,214 bottles of water being donated to those in need across the Valley. The event saw strong participation from several county departments. The Maricopa County Attorney's Office led the drive by donating 46,232 bottles. The Facilities Management Department contributed 12,360 bottles, while the Maricopa County Department of Transportation provided 6,155 bottles. Additionally, the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office added 4,992 bottles to the total.
Since the start of the water drive in 2012, county employees have donated a total of 329,899 bottles of water to help support heat relief efforts throughout the region.
